Guillotine Damper In HRSG
Guillotine damper comprise of hang steel structure, drive system (electric hoist), blade plate, duct and roof door of duct. It is installed behind the diverter damper and front of non-metallic expansion joint at HRSG side.
The guillotine damper only manual operation when the blade of diverter damper is on fully closed position, and it will provide a barrier between the diverter blade and the workers during maintenance of the boiler. When the guillotine is fully closed and the diverter is in simple cycle mode, the seal air system prevents flue gases from passing across the diverter blade and the guillotine prevents workers from touching the blade.
Guillotine damper inlet dimension and its outlet dimension are 7800mm×7800mm.
