Bypass Damper
The bypass vent is mainly used for waste heat recovery and utilization of gas turbine flue gas. When the waste center enters, the gas damper (in the horizontal position) opens to allow it to enter the boiler. When the residual heat is not required, the gas damper is closed (in the vertical position) and the gas fumes are exhausted through the bypass chimney. The actuator of the smoke damper can be actuated hydraulically or electrically. Hydraulic flue gas damper: smooth operation, damper and actuator are impact-resistant; the damper driving torque and running time adopt stepless adjustment function. Quick closing of the damper (<30 seconds) in emergency situations; spare parts and easy maintenance. Electric flue gas baffle: simple structure, simple system, simple daily maintenance, small footprint.
During normal operation, the damper starts to rotate; when approaching the end point, the torque gradually decreases until the sealing mechanism is compressed; this process is automatically completed by the hydraulic system. The detection of the rotation angle is realized by two sets of limit switches and valve position sensors in the sensor box, and the rotation angle can be displayed in the local control cabinet and the main control room at the same time. When the damper rotates 10° or 80°, it enters the buffer zone of the oil cylinder; at the same time, the valve position sensor sends a signal, and the hydraulic system and the electrical system automatically enter the positioning mode, which ensures the accurate positioning of the damper.
