Butterfly Type Main Stack Damper
The frame shall transfer all dead loads, induced wind shear load and wind moment load as calculated at the proposed location, consequentially the damper shell thickness shall be the same as the thickest stack shell in which it is located. The damper blades shall operate freely with any of the imposed calculated loads transmitted through the damper frame.
The HRSG Stack Closure Damper is provided to slow HRSG component temperature decay rate by limiting convective heat loss through the HRSG and stack following gas turbine shutdowns.
The Main Stack Damper adopts the butterfly type to open type structure, the structure is simple and reliable, compared with the louver type structure, the sealing perimeter is reduced obviously, and the sealing effect is better.
