The frame shall transfer all dead loads, induced wind shear load and wind moment load as calculated at the proposed location, consequentially the damper shell thickness shall be the same as the thickest stack shell in which it is located. The damper blades shall operate freely with any of the imposed calculated loads transmitted through the damper frame.
The HRSG Stack Closure Damper is provided to slow HRSG component temperature decay rate by limiting convective heat loss through the HRSG and stack following gas turbine shutdowns.

The driving mechanism of Main Stack Damper is driven by electric actuator, and the opening speed is 50 ~ 60S/ time, which makes the opening work stable and reliable.
In the design of the driving chain, we adopt a ratchet wheel mechanism, so that the Main Stack Damper of the main chimney can automatically open and release pressure under the action of the flue gas pressure if the flue gas in the waste heat boiler exceeds the release pressure under the closed state, thus playing a safety protection role.
