Diverter Damper With PLC Control

The bypass system is a connect device between GT and HRSG. which stays behind the expansion section of the gas turbine and after the entrance flue of the HRSG, playing the role of controlling the airflow from the exhaust gas of the combustor to the HRSG or aloft emission and achieving the switchover between the joint circulation and single circulation through the diverter damper; when the diverter damper is moved to the “bypass stack”, the flue gas will enter into the HRSG horizontally and the machine unit will run under the joint circulation mode; when the diverter damper is moved to the “boiler”, the flue gas will go into the bypass stack vertically and the machine unit shall run under the single circulation mode.

The bypass system comprises of Inlet duct, Diverter damper, Guillotine damper, Gas silencer, non-metallic expansion joint at the side of the bypass stack, Bypass steel structure, Bypass stack, and etc. The bypass stack and the gas silencer are supported by the bypass steel structure

Various systems of diverter damper, such as sealing system, hydraulic system, cooling system and Guillotine damper system, are controlled by PLC.
